The acting managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Prof. Daniel Pondei, has fainted while being questioned by the House of Representatives Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission.
He fainted while he was being asked about the spending of the commission since he took over.
Recall that the House of Representatives wrote a petition to the inspector general of police, asking him to issue a warrant of arrest for Prof. Pondei after he accused the chairman of the House committee on NDDC of corruption and staged a walk out.
As at the time of filing this report, Prof. Pondei was being revived by people present and was being taken to the hospital for proper medical care.
