Juventus vs Bologna 2-1: Ronaldo Makes His 4th Consecutive home Goals, Pjanic scores as Bianconeri

Juventus vs Bologna ended 2-1 as the Biaconeri record impressive victory at home. Ronaldo and Pjanic scored for Juve while Danilo was scored Bologna’s only goal. Juventus maintain top spot with four point above their closest rival Inter Milan Juventus vs Bologna ended 2-1 in favour of the defending champions as they continue their unbeaten run in Serie A.

Miralem Pjanic scored the match-winner after Danilo had canceled out Cristiano Ronaldo’s early first half strike. Ronaldo scored a brilliant individual effort in the 19th minute after using a step-over to move half-a-yard past a defender before shooting into the near corner to make it 1-0. But the lead did not last long as central defender Danilo equalized in spectacular fashion as his half-volley shot beat Ginaluigi Buffon to make it 1-1.

Ronaldo called Bologna keeper Lukasz Skorupski into action again in the 53rd minute as his powerful header was tipped over the cross-bar in the 52nd minute. Two minutes later, Miralem Pjanic restored the lead for Juventus again, this time it was Ronaldo that set up the Bosnian who drilled the ball into the net to make it 2-1.

Ronaldo should have completed a brace in the 80th minute as he found space to twist and turn in the box before forcing an acrobatic save from the keeper. And that was how it stayed as Juve extended their lead above Inter Milan who have a game at hand with four points.
